Creating business results – the pain and pleasure principle
a great deal of people say that is what it absolutely comes down to – pain vs pleasure.
That it’s about doing the something we long for vs avoiding the a thing we don’t and that’s what completely motivates pretty much everything that we do.
So why do so many people seem happy with staying average? Surely being so-so isn’t going to give pleasure?
Well, in accuracy staying ok is about staying with what you know. Because it is change that can seem chilling and pursuing the path to being good is completely sometimes pretty scary because it is the unknown.
But if it is true pleasure you want , then it’s change that might get you there, even if at first it seems a little scary, in the long run it is the pathway to real success and pleasure.
Just reckon back to a time when you procrastinated about things – you know, a time when you could have needed to do something but kept putting it off.
Why did you do it?
Well, it is usually the case that the thought of doing it is more painful compared with just putting it off. Doing nothing might not bring any rewards, but it is way easier!
What we will need to keep in mind to make the difference is the longer term outcome.
If you just focus on the task and not the vision, you can never get anything done! absolutely regard the bigger picture – the long term outcome and suddenly things may seem easier.
So staying ok is easier – that’s a fact! However that is totally not the way to pleasure or growing excellent !
Change is the path to becoming very excellent , however it is often pretty scary – even if we don’t feel it is that scary – it is fear that usually holds us back.
So what are some of the principles to real pleasure, success and becoming brilliant ?
Here are some of the most important secrets which we teach in NLP. NLP Training is one of the fastest ways I know to develop our skills at the deepest level.
1 Know your big picture – be truly clear about what you desire . If you don’t know your outcome you’ll probably never get down to doing anything, because the actions certainly do seem like hard work! Bear in mind the outcome and you’ll find it is much easier to take action on the tough stuff.
2 Take action – but keep reminding yourself of the bigger picture – your longer term outcome – that may be the key to making the smaller principles easier
3 Be witting of the feedback – when you work towards your big picture, you’re going to get feedback. Some could be excellent , and some can not be so brilliant ! However all feedback will be critical – if it is not working, do a thing dissimilar. If it is going well, keep doing it!
Learning NLP can be the fastest way to get you there, so have a loso-so around to find the best thing for you.
